The mission of the Academy of Cardiovascular Research Excellence (ACRE) is to promote the excellence and advancement of cardiovascular research and education and to facilitate academic exchanges and scientific interactions among its members.

 For these purposes, the ACRE engages in academic exchanges in the area of cardiovascular function, diseases, and drug discovery in the USA and around the world. It also sponsors cardiovascular research and education programs, workshops, symposia, annual scientific meetings, conferences, and publications. Read our bylaws.

Dear members of the Academy of Cardiovascular Research Excellence (ACRE),

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the new President of ACRE. I would like to begin by expressing my sincere appreciation to Dr. Jiang Chang (JC), the immediate post-president and the new long-range Director of ACRE, for his outstanding leadership and contributions to the advancement of cardiovascular research and education. Under JC’s guidance, ACRE has achieved remarkable success In promoting academic exchanges and scientific interactions among its members, sponsoring research and education programs, workshops, symposia, annual scientific meetings with CAAC, CNAHA as well as with AHA and BCVS conferences, and expanding the reach of ACRE to other parts of the world. JC’s dedication to excellence and his unwavering commitment to advancing cardiovascular research and education have set a high standard for the new Boord. On behalf of the entire ACRE community, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to JC for his exceptional service to our organization.

Moving forward, my mission as the new President of ACRE is to build on JC’s legacy and to continue to promote excellence and advancement in cardiovascular research and education. I am committed to fostering a collaborative environment that facilitates academic exchanges and scientific interactions among our members not only in the USA but also around the world. To achieve this, I plan to work closely with other members to identify new opportunities for collaboration and to promote innovative research in the areas of cardiovascular health and disease.

I am excited about working with the ACRE board to develop and implement new initiatives and programs that will help us achieve our mission. These Initiatives may include but are not limited to the expansion of our research and education programs, the organization of more workshops and symposia, and the further development of the international ACRE Chapters. In conclusion, I want to express my gratitude to the ACRE community for entrusting me with this important responsibility. I look forward to working with all of you to advance cardiovascular research and education and to promote academic exchanges and scientific interactions among our members and with the rest of the scientific community. Together, we shall make significant strides in the field of cardiovascular research and Improving the health of mankind.
