Dear Colleagues and Friends,
Today is the last seminar presentation of this year, on December 8, 2021, by Dr. Guo Huang, arising start from UCSF.
The ACRE-CAAC Joint Seminar Series was started on January 6, 2021, by Dr. Joseph Wu from Stanford University.
Over the past year, we have had 22 seminars featuring 28 distinguished speakers and 28
outstanding moderators from the US, China, UK, Canada, Germany, etc. More than 3000
people have attended the seminar series. We have also organized specific panel discussions on “How to grant”, “How to paper”, and “How to job”. These seminar series have provided a much-needed platform for colleagues and friends to get together, discuss science, and foster collaborations.
I want to take the opportunity to thank the joint-seminar committee, Wang Zhao, the chair of the Program and Scientific Committee of ACRE, Rongxue (Rosie) Wu, the chair of the Multi-media and Publication Committee of ACRE, Yiabin, Yin Liya, Hong Chen and Wang Hong from CAAC. I also want to thank our distinguished speakers and moderators.
There is no doubt that ACRE and CAAC cannot make such an achievement without our
audience, including both ACRE-CAAC members and non-members.
The holiday season is approaching. See you all next year! I sincerely wish you and your family a happy and safe holiday and a prosperous new year!
